Ante-Nicene Fathers Volume I. Apostolic Fathers with Justin Martyr and Irenaeus.
The Ante-Nicene Fathers, subtitled "The Writings of the Fathers Down to A.D. 325", is a collection of books in 10 volumes (one volume is indexes) containing English translations of the majority of Early Christian writings. The period covers the beginning of Christianity until before the promulgation of the Nicene Creed at the First Council of Nicaea. The translations are very faithful, but sometimes rather old-fashioned.

I love old religious works personally, I was compelled to buy this due to studying James, Which makes this essential.I opened the ebook and it starts like a regular ebook, but then I realise there are no chapters, so the whole thing is un-navigable during reading without going back to the table of contents... unless you wish to read it page by page.. over 4000 pages I assume.. I can't say for sure the number of pages, but it is really kind of a terrible mess in that regard.
why can't the people putting these things out use page breaks and heading 2 to make navigation possible?
thats how you fix it..
and the footnotes are a mess as well, on a electronic book footnotes should be embedded so that they aren't unsightly and take away from the reading experience in that manner.
I will return it for now BUT.. if and when it has chapters and the footnotes are embedded like they would be if the compiler used something like Jutoh and actually formatted the text (I have a copy, so I therefor understand that after having compiled a couple small books on my own) this would be an awesome book, but as it is, it really isn't anything other than compilation of data by the seller, theres no real annotations or anything, if there were you would never find them as it is..
Actually if you want an example of what I mean I can upload a copy of the book of jasher that is done in away to really fascilitate the reader, if you need you can ask what I mean if you don't understand, it isn't hard, but a book this size would take a being probably 10 weeks to fix, and with a set of 9 that would easily take up a two and a half years for a single person, because of embedding footnotes..
If you do get this done up right, please let me know, I really wan't it, but navigable.

I discovered this morning that this may not actually be a problem with the ebook, it may be a problem with my kindle.
I opened up my 1611 KJV of the holy bible and I noticed it wasn't showing the chapter marks at the bottom, though it was still functioning correctly, skipping chapter to chapter, but not showing marks on the bottom.
It makes me wonder if the problem is the file size and the amount of information..
I have a good working knowledge of computers (from DOS on, remember creating a autoexec.bat or altering your config.sys by hand?) so I am wonderin if it is something to do with the RAM that is in the kindles, like maybe it needs to be more for such large files, especially with many of them on a kindle.
therefor I have to change the 2 to a 4 for a reveiw as I may be wrong, and as a christian false witness is not my forte or interests, so out of fairness I have to change the reveiw.
I think i need to wipe the drive on my kindle and redo it, with 4 gigs of memory when you get about 1 full gig of books on there it gets laggy, probably for swap file space.
